How do you like birthdays?

It’s my birthday! Well it will actually be my birthday on Sunday, but it brings up a good question … How do you celebrate your birthday?

Do you look back on all the good stuff of last year and then plan for more good stuff to come?
I do. I love and cherish every year – past, present and future.

Some highlights from my last year - I started my successful online coaching club, my daughter graduated from high school, I visited Canada with my family for three weeks, had the time to travel and settle our daughter into University, had several speaking engagements, wrote two more books, bought more property in Mexico, and went to Florida with my husband for a romantic week long get away.

Now I’ve made some great choices for what I desire this coming year and some of them may involve you so you can get excited too! Some highlights - I am planning retreats, publishing my 3rd book, getting all of my books in print (currently they are eBooks only), and more holidays!

Birthdays are a celebration of life! Plus it is great to look forward to a triple fudge chocolate cake that my son is baking! What a great life I have.

Actually any time is a perfect time to find gratitude for all the good that has happened in your life and then to plan what you are going to look forward to.

Do different - Think different

When we think differently, we can get different results.
We can even receive brand new inspirations.

So here is today’s idea:
Try looking at life from upside down today.
Whenever you think about it, bend at the waist and look at the world from between your legs!

What will the results be?
The blood will rush to your head which should help your thinking.
You and everyone around you will be laughing and we all know that laughter is good for us.
You may spot something you thought you had lost.
And you may just receive that inspiration you were looking for because the world looks different from upside down.

Have fun with this and tomorrow you can try laying on the ground to get a cats perspective.
I tell you, the fun never ends!

We are always free to make our own choices.
Choices made from a place of love are always the most satisfying.

Today is a Grand Day!

What makes it grand?
Well, you will have to tell me that.

Will it be the grand inspiration that you receive?

Today I choose to laugh

We can take life very, very seriously – or not.
Today I choose to laugh more because it feels like fun.

I will still do everything I choose and need to do in my day but I choose today to see everything with a sense of humor – with an eye for fun – with a light spirit.

Fun is in the air – everywhere I look around – fun is in the air every sight and every sound….

Opportunity is knocking

What if everything is an opportunity?
What if everything that happens in our lives is an opportunity?

That means that everything whether we deem it good or bad is creating an opportunity for us.
Do we see it? Can we hear it?

Maybe if we concentrate on looking or listening for it?
Maybe we must practice looking for it and then we will always see it easily.
Yes, I believe in easy so that must be it.

Awareness that everything is an opportunity is the key to finding our opportunities and creating the life of our dreams.

I wonder what opportunity we will find next? I’m looking and listening. How about you?

Stepping is easy

Everything can be achieved by taking one step after another.
We get from point A to point B with our steps.

We don’t always know what we will encounter; it could be a big crack in the side walk or we could run into a friend. Whatever it is we can enjoy it or at least handle it easily as we adapt and learn along the way.

With one step at a time we always get to our chosen destination.

Let’s each take the first step to our dream. We will never know what delights await us until we start stepping.

I’m so busy looking for the positive I seldom find a negative.
It has been my way of life forever.
I’m a bit of a contrarian, which helps. Tell me look down and I’ll look up.

For me the grass is always green and I choose my focus to always keep it that way.

Keep on dreaming

Have you ever had something get you down?
Just keep on dreaming.
Where are we if we stop dreaming?

What becomes of our life if we decide we cannot dare hope to go for our dreams?
No matter what may happen in our current lives – we only lose out if we give up the dream.

The reality may be that our dream will be what brings us out of a current reality we are not crazy about.
