The value of stillness

To sit in stillness perhaps to meditate is a gift.
It is a gift to the one who sits in stillness.
In stillness we can receive the answers to many of our questions.
In stillness we can center ourselves to focus on what we choose to,
Not what others choose for us to focus on.

Why do we not sit in stillness more often?
Are we afraid of our thoughts? Are we afraid of aloneness?
Have we become too busy?

Sit and be still for even 5 minutes a day. Use this time to reflect on your life and what you desire; to ask your questions and to receive your answers.

It is a gift. Will you accept it?

What are you looking at?
What is reflecting back to you from the pond of life?
Are you seeing the beauty in the world?

What others see does not matter.
Only our view matters because those cause our reflections.
Our reflections show us our world.
