It is always important to start a New Year on the right foot.
With this in mind I ask you a very important question …
What are you most proud of from last year?
Start by stating one thing and you can add on from there.
Keep building the list. It’s okay if it takes you all day.
List all the events and achievements that you are proud of from last year.
The other things don’t matter. Just list what you are proud of.
There, don’t you feel good?
Doesn’t that feel like a great position to be in to start your New Year?
I can’t wait to hear what you are proud of from this year.
Maybe this year we should make the list as we go along.

A New Year - What's different?
What will make 2010 different than 2009?
It’ a new year! So what? Last year was a trying time for many.
What will make this year any better than last year?
Our thoughts and our focus will change it.
We can change our life anytime but this New Year can be our symbol.
Let’s decide now exactly what we desire for this year and let’s align our beliefs that it will be so. Let’s only look for the proof that our beliefs are right.
Let’s expect that what we desire will happen.
Maybe what we desire will not be for everyone in the world (because we are each allowed our own beliefs) but what we desire will happen for us.
Now 2010 will certainly be different.

New Year 2010
Peace, joy, love and good will to man.
Do you wish this for the New Year?
All those things come from within us. We do not have to look to others to find it or supply it. We do not have to tell all others to do the same. We simply need to live it by our example. From there it will spread.
Can we forgo judgment of others and focus only on ourselves?
Can we bring our feelings of inner peace to everything we do?
Can we do what we do with joy?
Can we show love to others in our thoughts, deeds and actions?
We need not be perfect - for who is perfect?
We need only try to live the example of what we desire for our world.
When we do that then … peace, joy, love and good will to man … will become our reality.

State your desires for 2009
It’s a new year. What do you desire to have happen? Think big and bold. Think no limits. Write without editing your thoughts. What do you desire from 2009?
Does the thought of attaining these desires make you smile? Do you feel happiness? Do you feel joy? Then you are on the right track. Keep playing with your desires until you feel wonderful at the thought of living with them in your life.
It is important to list your desires, write them down, state them out loud (even to yourself) – and capture the feeling of having them in your life.
You can set all the resolutions, affirmations, dreams and goals in the world and they will not mean anything until you can really feel what it would be like to have attained them. Pretend for awhile that you are already there – that you already have them. Do this often and before you know it they will really be in your life - Just like you imagined. Amazing? No I believed in them didn’t you?
Live those wild, no limits dreams this year because you can!

Happy New Year!
It is a New Year! And we can make it exactly what we choose. Many believe we do not have the power to do that. Many believe that we can only deal with and make the best of whatever we are handed in our life.
I don’t believe that for one moment. Each of us has the power to choose and create whatever we desire. Have you chosen what you desire from this year? Remember it does not matter what your neighbor chooses – you can choose differently if you desire to.
Life is full of marvelous adventures. However if we are not specific in choosing what we desire we end up living someone else adventures. Perhaps it is best that we design our own.
So will life happen to you this year or will you design it and choose what you desire? What do you believe? Whatever you believe will create your year. The question is will it be the year you really wanted?

A focus on love - attracts our dreams
What happens when we focus on what we love?
We feel good - We find even more to love – We attract good things to us.
Just like any other Law or Attraction exercise, we can start by focusing on the things we love and our list will grow and expand and encompass more because it is our focus. Before we know it, we will have found lots to love about our life.
Focusing on love for ourselves, and others, and the circumstances in our lives is a wonderful way to attract our dreams to us.

Will 2009 be a great year?
What do you think 2009 will be like? Whatever you think it will be it will be exactly that way for you. Everyone else around you may experience the opposite, but you will get the year of your thoughts. You will be given the gift of exactly what you expect for this brand new year.
What are you expecting?
Would you like to add to a great expectation? Would you like to change a currently negative expectation? Where do you start?
Let’s start with our focus. What will you choose to focus on? Do you want to watch the news and read the paper and find out what everybody else predicts for this year or would you like to create your own reality?
We can create our own reality but the creation needs to start with us. We need to decide what we really, really want to have happen in our lives and then we need to focus on that. It is almost like putting blinders on (the kind the race horses wear). You may choose to no longer watch the news or read the paper because it no longer reflects the reality you choose to create for yourself. That may sound wild and extreme but is it? Every one of us gets to decide for ourselves. Others may say we are living in a dream world but let’s just see at the end of the year where everybody stands. I like my dreams how about you?
The point is if we can maintain our focus our mind will go to work finding the reasons we are right and creating for us the perfect environment that will make our great year a reality.
May your year be as great as you choose to make it.

Big, bold and beautiful
Yesterday I mentioned now is a good time to decide what you want in the New Year. Today we can start to clarify those dreams. Now the question becomes how big, bold and beautiful can you make your dreams?
Can you see yourself living your dream? Can you feel it, smell it, and taste it? Describe it. Revel in it. Enjoy it. You bring it into your life by picturing, describing, feeling and totally embracing all the big, bold and beautiful details.
Are you beginning to feel like you are living it? Are you beginning to feel like you are about to walk into those big, bold and beautiful dreams any moment now? What if that was all you had to do to live those delicious dreams? Maybe it is. Can you believe it? Wow! Those dreams really are big, bold and beautiful and you are going to love them!
Keep up this easy and fun process and you will indeed be walking right into your dream life.

Start early for a great New Year
Happy December! Are you ready to get a jump start on your dreams? December is a great time to make our plans and clarify our dreams for the New Year because then we arrive at the beginning of the New Year with our intentions and our plans already made and that will feel awesome!
In January everyone is starting their list of the things they want to change or accomplish and ours is already made and in process. How would you like to take that feeling of accomplishment into the New Year?
The following questions may help you clarify your New Year dreams: What do I choose to do? What do I choose to be? What do I choose to see? What do I choose to have? Where do I choose to go? What would I like to share? The idea is to open the world of our possibilities.
If we don’t decide the things, feelings and life we desire – we will be given things by default. These may not be the surprises we hoped for.
Also remember the ‘How’ is not for us to figure out. Our only job is to clarify our vision of the perfect year as much as possible. So now is the time to go wild!

Is it a New Year today?
We can actually choose to start our New Year on any day we choose. In fact we can have a New Year start every day if we want.
January first is the new calendar year but any second we choose to we can start our New Year. It is all part of the fun of life. We can pick and choose and design our perfect life to include all our dreams any time we choose.
Just for fun, do you want to start a New Year today? It keeps things fresh, fresh, fresh!
Actually in any moment we can choose to reinvent ourselves. Do you like the old you or do you want to play with a new you? We can mix and match! How fun!
When we forget whatever we had planned for our new year, it is okay because we can just start again. How cool is that?

What will happen in your life this year?

Life is a celebration
What if we looked at every day as if life was a celebration? Not that it is something to be endured - not that it is something to get through – but that every day is a gift.
What if we spent every day looking for the gifts that life had to offer us? What would you appreciate about today? What would you be celebrating?
The way I see it, when we celebrate the gifts, the bounty, and the wonder of life we are practically in the position of celebrating our dream.

The way I see it, when we celebrate the gifts, the bounty, and the wonder of life we are practically in the position of celebrating our dream.
Sounds like a great way to start 2008 to me. Now where is my party hat with the big pink feather?

Lighten up
Maybe this coming year we make the decision to take ourselves less seriously.
Let’s take time to laugh more …. to play and enjoy life more …. to love more and allow ourselves to be loved.
The heaviness and pressures of the world need not be ours. When we focus on ease and lightness, we attract more of that. So really by attracting that into our lives we are increasing the lightness in the world.
When we lighten up – we can also more easily live our dreams.
Funny hats are optional – but I think mine will have a giant pink feather.

What about a New Year?
A new year is coming. Soon it will be 2008.
What do you want 2008 to look like for you?
I’m not actually talking about needing to set goals here. Often goal setting just creates anxiety – who wants that pressure? I am talking about creating your ideal scene for the New Year. Be easy and relaxed with it. What would you like to have happen in 2008? More important how would you like to feel?
Write it out – visualize it – make a dream board of it – make a tape recording of how you will feel living it - think about the joy you will feel achieving that lifestyle every day. Follow the inspirations you receive and soon you will indeed be living it. It can really be that easy.
As a life coach, I write and talk about this a lot. In fact - I live it. My vision is to live my life as an example. I live my ideal life every day. It really works.
One of my visions for the New Year is to help even more people find that life can be lived in a very gentle and flowing way. Some have already found that, some do not choose that – however, I am confident that for the ones that do, we will find each other. I am confident that the perfect ways and opportunities to accomplish this will present themselves.
What do you want for yourself in 2008? Maybe our visions overlap? I am as close as an email away anytime.
