Higher self-esteem

Self-esteem is how we feel about ourselves.
It is our belief in our self.
When we are confident in our abilities people say that we have high self esteem.
We feel better about ourselves.

How can we empower ourselves in more areas?

First we must realize that our self esteem is within our control not someone else’s.
We can’t blame someone else for any low self esteem that we feel.
Yes, they may have played a role but it is in our power now.
We are in charge of pumping ourselves up and building our self esteem.

The biggest way I can suggest for pumping ourselves up is to list all the things we do really well and we love about ourselves. Think of everything and anything – big and small. Pick your favorites and zero in on those. Tell yourself how good you are at them … but don’t share all this with others. You see self esteem is an inside job. You don’t have to say it to people. They will begin to notice your new confidence at about the same time as you do. Enjoy the feeling – because it has everything to do with you.

Taking action!

This is not the action you feel you should do and not the action that you don’t want to do. That can’t possibly take you anywhere joyous. Take the action that makes you feel good.

The easiest and fastest way to our dreams is through doing the actions that we are inspired to do. How do we know what are inspired actions? There are two ways 1) the desire to do it feels good 2) it feels easy to do.

Can you imagine if the hardest thing you had to do to live your dream was to do the easy and fun things that you are inspired to do? Believe it and it is true. How fun!

Dream catchers

Our thoughts can create our dreams and then they can help us attain our dreams. This makes our thoughts very, very, important. Wouldn’t you agree?

How can I see this with new eyes?

Are you in a place where you can only see an obstacle or even several obstacles to your dream? Sometimes we can come to a place where we figure we have this huge obstacle and we don’t seem to see any way around it. We find ourselves in a place where we can only see one thing, one perspective – The obstacle! We are in effect stuck. Our dream now seems impossible.

Whoa! Stop those thoughts! We probably only need to find “new eyes“ to be able see our dream as a possibility again. So how do we get unstuck? How do we remove this obstacle? How can we change our perspective? How do we find “new eyes”?

Can we step back? Broaden our perspective? Ask someone else for help? Can we look at it any other way? Sometimes all we need is a little change in our perspective and that unmovable, seemingly unsolvable obstacle to our dream is easy to move or solve – sometimes it even disappears.

You can also try shaking your head, wild dancing and brushing your teeth with your opposite hand.

Energy Flow

We are all energy beings. We are made up of particles of energy. They are within us and around us. Our whole world is created of energy.

Let go of time

Sometimes our perception is that our dream will take a long time to arrive. Well now that is just putting a limitation on it. Who can really say what is possible?

The point is we don’t even need to worry about the when. The Universe has it all under control. We just need to hold the dream with love.

Seize today

How do we seize today? We seize today by deciding to make today the best day it can be. Hmm, ready?

Do we have some commitments today? We can choose to do those to the best of our ability in as fun a way as possible. Why? Because it will make us feel good.

Let’s also plan some free time. Every day needs some free time. What would give you joy to do? Do some of that. Let’s also share some kind words with everyone we meet, kiss someone we love and maybe hug a few people. What else would you add?

I am saving time after dinner for a double chocolate hot fudge brownie with a huge mound of vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate sauce. I’ll share it with my husband; double the pleasure and half the calories. Go ahead and seize every day and make it the best ever! Now, how will I seize tomorrow?

Do we have control?

What can we control and what can’t we control?

Exterior things cannot usually be controlled – other people, outside events, the weather …
We do however have control of our thoughts and responses because they come from within us. Those become our choices. Our choices are within our control.

So what do you choose for your dream life? Peace, contentment, love, wealth, health? It does not matter what is going on in the outside world. We have the control.

Well only if it makes you happy of course – but let’s ponder it for a minute.
What would be wild and wonderful in your life to you?

To do something spur of the moment … To stay out really late … To get up early and watch the sun rise … To stay up all night … To do something you have never done … To try a new food … To buy some wild art … To book a cruise the week before it leaves? How about picking one of your really wild but easy to do dreams?

The point is if the thought makes you happy and excited why not try it?

Magnify the positive

When we start our day, all we need to do is to find one positive thing, event or feeling in our life and we are on our way to a great day.

When will it come?

Sometimes when we want our dream a lot we can get caught up in wanting to know when it will arrive. That usually effectively stops the process of it coming at all.

Creating the perfect relationship

Creating the perfect relationship starts with our vision and our thoughts.
What does your perfect relationship look like? Feel like? Sound like?

Why not start picturing it? How would you feel if you were living it? What would you be doing? What would you be saying to people about it? How would you be treating your partner?

Once you have your vision clarified, your thoughts follow and before you realize it you will be living it. Is it a dream? It will be very real and it will be your creation.

What is the good stuff that is happening in your life, right now, at this moment while you sit reading this?
