Big may not be better

How often do we take little bothersome things that happen in our lives and make them into big things? We can even string a bunch of little things together and make them a big thing can’t we?

Let’s not live worrying about the future – worry gets big there.
Let’s concentrate on ‘now’ things because they are much smaller and more manageable in the now.

Let’s not take little challenges with people or organizations or businesses and build them into big things. We have better things to do.

Let’s keep the things that are meant to be little – little.
That allows our happiness in life to get bigger and that serves us much more.

You could say big is also better with hot fudge sundaes.

Look for the gift

What if all we receive from life are gifts?
What if we receive a gift and we don’t recognize it?
What if we mistake it for a problem or a challenge?
What if we actually complain about it?
Would you keep giving gifts to someone who complained about them?

Let’s decide now to look for our gifts everywhere – in everything.
You know what is like, sometimes gifts can seem odd.
But we can always show gratitude while we figure out what to do with it or how to use it.

Soon all our different gifts will become easier and easier to recognize.
And I think we will find it easier to truly appreciate them all.
Get ready because I’m thinking we are going to find a lot of gifts now!

The Matrix

I re-watched the first Matrix movie last night. If you have not seen it, it is about a life created by computers for us humans. In other words nothing we think is real is real. A computer generated man tells us that originally they had created a perfect life for us where everyone should have been happy, but we were not happy with it. We hated it because there was no challenge. Imagine that!

The question for you today is … what challenge are you creating in your life that you really like? Interesting question isn’t it? The point is everything in our life is serving us at some level. If we figure out what it is giving us – we don’t need that challenge anymore. We can get that thrill perhaps in another way. – Like maybe bungee jumping!

Let's Play!

We need to play a little every day.
What is the use of being here on earth if we cannot enjoy ourselves?
Remember how much fun it was to play as kids?

Everything in our life gets better when we stop and play for awhile.
Suddenly we can enjoy everything more.
Challenges we may be feeling don't seem so big ....
And new ideas seem to pop into our head like magic!

I did that! Is our power.

When stuff happens in our life that we are not crazy about – we may wonder how it got there. Why did it happen to us? Why do we have to experience this?

So how did it get there? It got there because our thoughts, words and/or actions attracted it. We are all responsible for the good stuff that happens in our personal lives and we are all responsible for what seems to be the not so good stuff that happens in our personal lives. That is the Law of Attraction at work. It is our responsibility.

It is so easy to say “I did that!” when we are happy about a success, but who wants to stand up and say “I did that!” when the result seems not so good? The truth is that we attract both experiences. When we take full responsibility for creating the good, the bad and the ugly in our lives – it gives us back our power. Our life can go awry when we figure something is not in our power to control. How can we feel power if we believe that it is someone else’s fault or that things happen to us on a whim?

What if everything is in our control? See, there we have the power to make our choices. If we are not happy with something that is happening in our lives we can make the decision to change it. We have all the power – we don’t have to wait for anyone else!

When we realize that we have the power – we will inevitably have more successes and good things happening in our lives! We can change our life and empower our dream with every “I did that!”
