I think life is very much like a dance. We can choose the songs we want to dance to, we can choose our partners, we can even choose our teachers, but the dance always turns out the best when we don’t try to plan every move in advance.
We need to be free to express ourselves with the music. Oh we need to choose the music, but after that life works out best when we go with the flow and allow ourselves to be inspired and creative. Then we feel wonderful. You know the feeling.

What will happen in your life this year?
This year will be exactly what you make it because we each have the power and ability to create exactly the year we want for ourselves.
Have you thought about what you want this year to be like?
What do you want to experience?
What do you want to see?
How do you want to feel?
What do you want to try?
Who do you want to be with?
Nothing we really want will ever happen without us first choosing that we want it.
Our life is important! We can’t leave it to happen by default because we didn’t decide what we wanted! We design our lives.
Don’t let that power scare you though – embrace it – have fun with it – make your choices. Choose every day. We can’t get it wrong. If we decide we don’t like something after all, we can change it. How cool is that?
Your life will be exactly as you have chosen it to be. Others may be amazed and wonder how your fantastic life happened - but not us.

Don't wait for tomorrow
What would you like to try doing? Decide to do it now. Try the experience. You will never know what it feels like until you try it.
Look at me; my husband and I move our family to another country, only having visited it for 2 weeks 15 years previously. It may sound a little wild but I’ll never have to say I wonder what it would have been like …..
If it doesn’t work out, you can always try something different.
Go ahead and give yourself permission to live your dream; live your adventure. Of course maybe you will want to start with something smaller – like skydiving.

Enjoy the journey
I figure that the joy in life, the fun, and the excitement, is in the journey – not the destination. I think somebody famous said something about that. I mean really - when we get to the destination, we enjoy it for awhile and then we are usually asking ourselves - what’s next?
Let’s enjoy life all along the way – including all the glorious detours, all the sightseeing, and all the destinations.

All we can do is our best
Let’s just plan to do the best we can every day, in every moment, and in every situation.
Maybe sometimes we will make a mistake as we try to do the best we can. What to do? Did we fail? No, we did not fail. We can accept our mistake and we can say sorry. It is all part of doing the best we can in every moment. It’s easy, sets a wonderful example and frees us to live in peace.
If we do everything in our day to the best of our ability, giving each thing we do our undivided focus, we will have wonderful results. It’s just one more way that we can be living our dreams.
I’ll do the best I can every day. How about you?

What do you want more of?
What would you like more of in your life? Is it Respect - Money – Love – Kindness - or something else?
When we give first to others whatever it is that we would like (even if we feel like we don’t have much of it to give) we will find that we receive it back tenfold in return.
When we give whatever we can and we give it with love and gratitude - through the Law of Attraction we will be amazed at how much of the same is given back to us and it is always in much greater quantities than we even gave. It is magical, just magical.
We are free to enjoy giving. We need not worry about how or when it will be returned as we know that it always will be. It will be, because life is abundant.
Give something to everyone you meet and you will be living your dreams.

Life is a celebration
What if we looked at every day as if life was a celebration? Not that it is something to be endured - not that it is something to get through – but that every day is a gift.
What if we spent every day looking for the gifts that life had to offer us? What would you appreciate about today? What would you be celebrating?
The way I see it, when we celebrate the gifts, the bounty, and the wonder of life we are practically in the position of celebrating our dream.
Sounds like a great way to start 2008 to me. Now where is my party hat with the big pink feather?
