The subject of 'being'

Today let’s have some fun and talk about the subject of ‘being’. When we have a desire or a dream we are told by ‘many experts in the field of manifesting’ that we need to ‘be’ what we desire or dream of and we will then attract it or have it. Huh?

You see when we realize we already are, embody, or are capable of being the person who has whatever we desire it is as good as ours because then we already have it. Clear as mud? I thought so.

Okay let’s look at some examples. Let’s start with an easy one. When we desire love – we can start by ‘being’ love ourselves. When we practice responding to everything that happens in our life as well as the people who show up in it with love, we find we experience love through ‘being’ it and the best part is that love is returned to us so we get to experience it some more. Thus we have the life full of love that we desire. If we are not willing to ‘become’ and exhibit love first we may never experience it deeply in our lives no matter how much we desire it. You can substitute many things in this example to obtain the same results. Play with it yourself.

Here is another example along the same lines: Say we desire a great relationship with someone. List the things you desire to receive and experience from someone else and then proceed to give and ‘be’ these very things yourself. Don’t be surprised when those very things start to show up in all your relationships. Who started it? You did. Cool huh?

But let’s say we desire a beautiful new car or a house …. How do we ‘be’ a house or a car? We can think like and act like the person who owns that beautiful new house or car. That means we don’t bemoan whatever we currently have because that is focusing on what we currently have – we focus on what we desire – we become the person who has what we desire. We think like and act as if we have it. We are then ‘being’ it into existence for ourselves.

Fun huh? Have fun as you practice ‘being’ whatever you dream of and desire!
