The power of one

What good can one do?
Each one of us has the power to control our own destiny.
Each one of us can control our own thoughts and choices.
Each one of us can control our own words and actions.
Each of us can choose for ourselves.
That is the power of one.

What if more want to join us?
Then that is the power of 2 or 3 or 4 or 10,000.
Does it matter if anyone joins us?
Not really because we have the power for ourselves.
We can live those dreams because we have the power to.

The Matrix

I re-watched the first Matrix movie last night. If you have not seen it, it is about a life created by computers for us humans. In other words nothing we think is real is real. A computer generated man tells us that originally they had created a perfect life for us where everyone should have been happy, but we were not happy with it. We hated it because there was no challenge. Imagine that!

The question for you today is … what challenge are you creating in your life that you really like? Interesting question isn’t it? The point is everything in our life is serving us at some level. If we figure out what it is giving us – we don’t need that challenge anymore. We can get that thrill perhaps in another way. – Like maybe bungee jumping!

Dream catchers

Our thoughts can create our dreams and then they can help us attain our dreams. This makes our thoughts very, very, important. Wouldn’t you agree?

How can I see this with new eyes?

Are you in a place where you can only see an obstacle or even several obstacles to your dream? Sometimes we can come to a place where we figure we have this huge obstacle and we don’t seem to see any way around it. We find ourselves in a place where we can only see one thing, one perspective – The obstacle! We are in effect stuck. Our dream now seems impossible.

Whoa! Stop those thoughts! We probably only need to find “new eyes“ to be able see our dream as a possibility again. So how do we get unstuck? How do we remove this obstacle? How can we change our perspective? How do we find “new eyes”?

Can we step back? Broaden our perspective? Ask someone else for help? Can we look at it any other way? Sometimes all we need is a little change in our perspective and that unmovable, seemingly unsolvable obstacle to our dream is easy to move or solve – sometimes it even disappears.

You can also try shaking your head, wild dancing and brushing your teeth with your opposite hand.

Energy Flow

We are all energy beings. We are made up of particles of energy. They are within us and around us. Our whole world is created of energy.

When we focus our inner energy on what we want, amazing things happen and can happen quickly. We magnetize results to us.

A key is to focus our thoughts and energy on what we do want. Imagine focusing all your powerful energy on the wrong thing by thinking about what you don’t want!

Let go of time

Sometimes our perception is that our dream will take a long time to arrive. Well now that is just putting a limitation on it. Who can really say what is possible?

The point is we don’t even need to worry about the when. The Universe has it all under control. We just need to hold the dream with love.

I am so excited because I know am getting all my dreams and I don’t have to worry about the how or the when! The timing is bound to be perfect.

Seize today

How do we seize today? We seize today by deciding to make today the best day it can be. Hmm, ready?

Do we have some commitments today? We can choose to do those to the best of our ability in as fun a way as possible. Why? Because it will make us feel good.

Let’s also plan some free time. Every day needs some free time. What would give you joy to do? Do some of that. Let’s also share some kind words with everyone we meet, kiss someone we love and maybe hug a few people. What else would you add?

I am saving time after dinner for a double chocolate hot fudge brownie with a huge mound of vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate sauce. I’ll share it with my husband; double the pleasure and half the calories. Go ahead and seize every day and make it the best ever! Now, how will I seize tomorrow?
