Pick an object – any object … a knickknack, a flower, a rock.
Now simply focus your gaze on it.
Don’t think about anything else for 3 - 5 minutes.
Breathe – in and out.
Set a timer or just set your inner clock and when you feel you are done, you are done.
That’s it.
Did you feel a little bit of calm, a sense of peace, a quieting of your mind?
That’s it! That is a very good reason to meditate!
Do it whenever you want to center yourself.
